She was born Nov. 11, 1929, in Liverpool, England. Anne moved to the United State in 1958.
Anne was the founder of the Nevada County Chapter of MADD, and was active in alcohol abuse prevention. She gave many hours of comfort and support to parents in Nevada County that had lost a child due to the negligence of an inebriated driver.
She is survived by her brother, Chris Malcomson of Pennsylvania; stepmother Kay Malcomson of Great Britain; stepdaughter Cherie Hearne of Berkeley; and grandsons Sean Hearne of Colorado, and Patrick Hearne of Berkeley.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband, George Wells; and daughter, Annette Wells; parents, John "Ran" and Grace Malcomson; and brother, Roger Malcomson.
Anne will be greatly missed by her many friends and family that she had worldwide.
