She is survived by three children, Pat Baker, Jerry (Jeri) Congdon and Mike (Linda) Congdon. Also surviving is her brother, Clyde (Barb) Hammond; eight grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; four greatgreat-grandchildren; and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lewis Congdon and Wes Haney; six brothers, two sisters, a grandson, a great-granddaughter and a great-greatgrandson.
Myrtle loved camping, playing bingo, quilting and family gatherings.
Per her wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to your local food bank or the charity of your choice.
A graveside service will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, at North Shore Memory Gardens, Hagar Shores.
