Visitation for Jose Antonio Andazola, 60, of Bayard, will be held at 6 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 20) at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where the prayer vigil will follow at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday (May 21) at the same church. Burial will follow at the Fort Bayard National Cemetery, with full military honors will be accorded by the local veteran groups.

Andazola died on May 14 at Mesilla Valley Hospice in Las Cruces.

Survivors include his wife, Cecilia Martinez Andazola; sons, Joseph R. Andazola of Las Cruces, Jacob A. Andazola of Tyrone, John M. Andazola of Bayard; daughter, Crystal Rodriguez of Santa Clara; brother, Arturo A. Andazola of Albuquerque; five grandchildren

Arrangements are by Baca's Funeral Chapels of Silver City.
