James B. Seesengood, 89, of Clay City, died at 1:20 p.m. Saturday Jan. 7, 1995 at Clay County Hospital in Flora.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Stringtown. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Monday).

Seesengood was born Oct. 17, l905, in Newton, the son of Simon J. and Anna C. (Zuber) Seesengood.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the St. Stephens Catholic Church in Flora.

He is survived by four sisters, Dorothy Herman, of Flora, Marie Brumback, of Bridgeport, Lucille McCormick, of St. Joseph, and Emma Alberson, of Grass Lake, Mich.; and a nephew, Maurice Herman, of Clay City.

Seesengood was preceded in death by his parents.
