Mr. Schlegel was employed by Bethlehem Steel Co. He was a veteran of World War I. He served with the Army in Europe.
Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Henry & Mary Schlegel. He was the husband of the former Melma Diehl. He resided in the Bethlehem area 20 years.
His widow is his only survivor. The funeral will be held at 1:30pm tomorrow at the Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
