MARGARET BROGDON HARRINGTON--100:
resident of Presbyterian Lodge-Erie, died Sunday [3-02]. She was born 23 Feb 1903 in McKean, a dau of the late Joseph & Dellma Sponsler Brogdon. She was a former resident of Dufford Apartments & Methodist Towers. She worked as a bookkeeper for Moss Constr-uction Co & formerly worked for Jane Jordan Answering Service. She was also an artist whose work was displayed at Erie & SanFran-cisco exhibits. She studied art at Chabot College-Hayward CA. She served with the ErieCnty Civil Defense & was honored for her work in 1965. She was a member of Glenwood United Methodist & Simpson United Methodist Churches. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Harrington in 1973; 3 sons: JohnJ, Kenneth & RobertL Harrington; 2 sis: Vera Gierke & Ethel Wolf Smith & a granddau-Colleen Harrington.
Survivors include 2 sons: RichardJ (sp-Pat) Harrington-Dayton OH & DavidP (sp-Patricia) Harrington-Waterford; dau: Margaret Clark-Waterford; 16 grandchildren; 20 gr-grand-children & 15 gr-gr-grandchildren.
A service will be held Friday morning [3-07] at the Brugger Home for Funrls, officiated by Rev Russ Shuluga. Burial will be at Calvary Cem. Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Lodge-Erie.

CHARLES J HARRINGTON--78:
Erie; died Wednesday at Erie Veterans Administration Hosp. Born in Costello 6 May 1895, he was a son of Charles & Theresa McCall Harrington. He was well-known as a papermaker at Hammermill Paper Co, where he was employed for 35yrs retiring in 1953. From 1911-17, he served in the US Navel Reserve & in 1915, became crewman aboard the USS Wolverine, first iron hull warship of the USNavy-whose bow sprit stands at the foot of StateSt. He served with the USArmy during WW1 & was honorably discharged in 1919. He was a member of the Sunflower Club.
Survivors include his wife: Margaret Brogdon Harrington; 4 sons: John-Pittsburgh, Richard-Dayton OH; Robert & David-both Erie; a dau: Margaret (sp-Gerald) Clark-Erie; 15 grandchil-dren, 6 gr grandchildren; sis: Anna Schneider-Erie & several nieces-nephews. He was prece-ded in death by 2 bros: Frank-1972 & Robert-1973.
Service will be Saturday [10-20] at Brugger & Sons Funeral Home followed by a Mass of the Resurection at StAnns Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cem-Erie.
