Ruth V. Cain, 80, of Mount Pleasant, died Monday, April 15, 2002, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. Born Aug. 11, 1921, in Bullskin Township, she was a daughter of the late William and Myrtle (Myers) Greenawalt. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Union Apparel, Norvelt, in the cutting room. She was a member of Mount Joy Church of the Brethren, Mount Pleasant, and the Hempfield Hunt Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Lonny, James, Carl and J.P. Greenawalt; a half brother, Blair Crise; and a sister, Marie Rydle.
