Freda Mae Wallace, 74, of Checotah, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, after a long illness. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church in Eufaula with Pastor Tim Turner officiating. Graveside services will be at Conejo Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in Camarillo, Calif. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester. Born, with her twin, Aug. 29, 1936, in Franklin County, Ark., she was the daughter of Edward Guy Beatty and Minnie Verda O'Neal Beatty. She was reared in Ventura County, Calif. and spent most of her adult life there. She retired to Checotah in 1994. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8798 Auxiliary and Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Henry Elliot Boynton Jr. and Nancy, Marie Boynton Detwiler, Teresa Ann Dykes and Bud Dykes and Donald Eugene Wallace Jr. and Lisa; daughter-in-law, Vickie Boynton. Also, grandchildren, Stephanie Diane Dunn, Steven Robert Boynton, Evangeline Marie Goddard, Shelley Lute, Melissa Christine Slaughter, Colleen Dawn Stutton, Sarah Marie Frazier, James William Dykes, Olivia Kate Wallace and Aidan William Wallace. And, great-grandchildren, Dustin, Shaun, Steven Jr., Tyler, Tanner, Taylor, Reece, Tyson, Kamden, Jayden, Tre'gan, Corey, Autumn, Patience and William; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda Beatty Chamberlin and Marvin Chamberlin and Sheila Beatty Krout and Ron Krout; aunts, Gladys O'Neal Lile and Faye O'Neal Nottingham, and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Edward Mastue Beatty, Owen Dale Beatty, Leta Faye Beatty Johnson and Ruth Ann Beatty Maxwell Slight; husbands, Henry Elliot Boynton and Donald Eugene Wallace; grandson Arthur Boynton, and great-grandson, Lucas H. Boynton.
