Hoover M. Richardson, 92, Harrisonville, died Dec. 12, 2000, in Harrisonville. He was born Jan. 13, 1908, in Tuscumbia, a son of Phiander P. and Clara Alice Birdsong Richardson. He married Oct. 3, 1947, to Erma L. Knoch, who died Sept. 30, 1990. He was a construction laborer and farmer. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include: three daughters, Alice Hildebrand, Harrisonville, Margaret Imler, Joplin, and Sue Lucas, Green River, Wyo.; nine grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. One son, Charles Bowden preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Pastor Keith Swartz will officiate. Burial will be in the Eldon City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday.
