The Huntsville Times, Wednesday, March 13, 1946. Final rites for Mrs. Myrtle Davidson Brogan, 75, of Meridianville, who died yesterday morning at the Huntsville Hospital, will be conducted in the morning at 10 o’clock at Spry’s chapel. Rufus Underwood of Decatur will officiate. Interment, with Spry’s in charge, will be in Fayetteville. Pallbearers will be Dennis Bragg, Morris, Donald and Richard Spencer, Edwin Etter and Floyd Sandlin. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Iva Parker, Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Huntsville; Mrs. John Martin, Modesto, Cal.; Mrs. Martin Etter, Tracy City, Tenn.; Mrs. L. E. Sandlin, Jr., Huntsville, and Mrs. James Strong, Meridianville; two sons, A. L. and Sam Brogan, both of Birmingham; a sister, Mrs. Charles Jewett, Iola, Kansas, several grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
