Mr. Lynch was born in California and had been a resident of Gulfport for thirty years. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was Catholic. He was a member of Gulfport Elks Lodge No. 978, American Legion, VFW and DAV.
He is survived by his caregiver and companion: Mary Rudd of Gulfport; and three brothers, Mike Gahan of San Antonio, Texas, John Gahan of Seattle, Wash. and William Van Nuys of Long Beach, Calif.
A graveside service was held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
Funeral Home in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
