Dale Lynn Garland, 46, of Blackwell OK, passed away in his home on July 23, 2008, in Blackwell. Dale was born on December 15, 1961, in Wyandotte MI to Estel and Anna (Wells) Garland. Dale was raised in Hoxie AR and graduated from Hoxie High School with the Class of 1980; he served in the U.S. Army.
Dale married Billie "Jody" Hall in Cloverbend AR on October 15, 1994. They lived in Billings OK until two years ago when they moved to Blackwell.
Dale drove over-the-road trucks until his health failed. He loved to watch race cars and ride motorcycles and had a great love for his dogs and cats. He especially loved spending time with Ben, his grandson.
Dale is survived by his wife, Billie "Jody" Garland, of the home; sons Rick Jones and wife Lisa of Ponca City OK, Shawn Jones and wife Haley of Perry OK, and Casey Jones and Neisha Kuchera of Tonkawa OK; sister Donna Lawrence; extended family Henry and Tabitha Alley of Perry OK, Darryl and Tammy Brown, Rhonda Honeyman and Shane Jones, all of Billings; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Lonnie and Carl Garland; sisters Shelby Dixon and Kay Stender; extended family, Jennifer Morehouse.
