Connie L. Scott Bronnenberg, age 54, of Pendleton, Indiana, died November 22, 2002, at her residence after a sudden illness. She was born June 8, 1948, in Anderson, Indiana and resided in Pendleton, Indiana. She was a lifelong Madison County resident. She volunteered at South Elementary School, in Pendleton. She previously worked at the Indiana State Police Post as a dispatcher for the Indiana Department of Corrections, retiring in 1995. She had also worked for GTE, in Pendleton. She attended Shirley Christian Church.
She is survived by: her husband, Dave Bronnenberg, who she married February 11, 1972, in Anderson; two children, Benton Bronnenberg, of Washington D.C., and Kelly Bronnenberg, and special friend, Andy Stewart, of Indianapolis; one brother, Fred Scott, of Anderson; her father-in-law, Joseph R Bronnenberg, of Anderson; two special friends, Jenni Colip, of Pendleton, and Jane Frazee, of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Fred and Wanda Wilhoite Scott; a sister, Marilyn Sheets; her mother-in-law, Madonna Bronnenberg; and an uncle, Merle Scott.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, in Anderson. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 26, at the funeral home’s south chapel. Contributions may be made to the: American Cancer Society; Saint John's Health System Hospice; American Diabetes Association; or American Kidney Foundation.
