He was born June 12, 1938, in Tompkinsville, Ky., son of Boyd Thomas and Madie Sewell Pitcock.
Pitcock was a line technician for Cummins Diesel Engines.
Survivors include four sons, Charles Pitcock of the state of Washington, Brian and Keith Pitcock of Boise, Idaho, Robert Lawson of Shelbyville, IN; two daughters, Candice Pitcock of Cape Girardeau, Michelle Henderson of St. Louis; two sisters, Francis Waldon of Wilkerson, Ind., Shirley Waldon of Greenfield, Ind.; and eleven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
