"SANDERS, Rachael Rebecca, Resident Here 54 Years Dies in Hospital. A native Arizonan and a resident of Douglas 54 years, Mrs. Rachael Rebecca Sanders, 75, 2110 11th St., died at Cochise County Hospital Saturday at 7:25 p.m. Mrs. Sanders was born in Mesa, March 25, 1885, and came to Douglas in 1906. Her husband, Thomas A. Sanders died in 1934. He was a Phelps Dodge employee. Mrs. Sanders, a member of the LDS Church, taught in the primary department of the church for many years. Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Anona Haymore of Tucson; three sons, Tom Sanders, 2110 11th St., Frank of Washington D.C. and Martin of Bisbee; three sisters Mrs. Mary Patton of Mesa, Mrs. Mae Bowers of El Paso, Mrs.Ena Mitchell of Lordsburg; four brothers, Parley Richins of Blythe, Calif, Orson Richins of Virden, N.M., Esther and George Richins of Lordsburg. The funeral will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the LDS Church here, Bishop Leonard Haymore will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery."
