Lear Hail was born, one of three daughters, to Simon and Lena Gee-Cain. She received her education in the Sand Flat School and united with Prairie Grove Baptist Church early in life.
She was married [Oct. 24, 1916, Quitman, Tx.] to Jim Hail, Jr., in Wood County. He preceeded her in death January 15, 1962.
She departed this life in a Quitman, Texas nursing home. Her survivors are one foster son, Rodgers Jackson; six foster grandchildren, seven nieces, six nephews and other relatives and friends.
