Ruth M. Kessler
SEVEN VALLEYS - Ruth M. Kessler, 93, of Seven Valleys RR 2, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at York Hospital, after a brief illness.
The service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion (Shaffer's) United Lutheran Church, Shaffer Road, Seven Valleys. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, is in charge of arrangements.
Miss Kessler was born June 28, 1905, in North Codorus Township. She was the daughter of the late Erney Hamilton and Leah Alverta (Gladfelter) Kessler.
She was a machine operator at AMP Inc. in Glen Rock for 10 years. She was a member of Zion (Shaffer's) United Lutheran Church and Western York County Democratic Club.
Miss Kessler is survived by a sister, Jennie V. Boose of Seven Valleys RR 2; and nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Richard C. Weaver, pastor of Lutheran Congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Church in Glenville.
