Mrs. Barker was born July 24, 1887, in Mahomet, a daughter of Lee P. and Dora Graham (Christian) Rayburn. She was married to Thomas H. Barker Sr. on June 29, 1911, in Bondville. He died Aug. 16, 1968.
Survivors include: one son, Thomas Jr., Route 3, C; two daughters, Mrs. Geneva Whiteside, East Lansing, Mich., and Mrs. Evelyn Mackey, Monticello, six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Lee P. Rayburn, Jr., Denver, Colo,; two sister, Mrs. Myrtle Atchinson, Abingdon, and Mrs. Ethel Keller, Urbana.
Five brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Barker was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Champaign, and the WCTU.
