CLARKSVILLE – Katharine Latimer Cowan, 95 of Heath, entered into the heavenly presence of her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, in the Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home Burial follows in Madras Cemetery. The family receives friends Friday from 1 p.m. until service time at Clarksville Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 30, 1912, in Clarksville, to A.D. and Kate Fulton Latimer. Her love of her family and her servant’s heart will be missed by those that knew her. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim M. Cowan; four brothers, Fulton, William, Corley, and James Latimer. Survivors include a son, Dick Cowan, and wife, Jill, of Cedar Hill; a daughter, Linda Kay Scott and husband, Doug, of Heath; grandchildren, Paul Scott and wife, Janice, Cindy Loy and husband, Alan, both of Rockwall, Katie Cowan of Lubbock, Kyle Cowan of Cedar Hill and Corley Cowan and wife, Audrea, of Lewisville; great-grandchildren, Scott and Lindsey Loy, Sam and Kaitlynn Scott and Kennedy Cowan.
