The funeral for Rev. Jack Robinson will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Ladusau-Evans funeral chapel. The Rev.'s Paul Branham, David Robinson and Guy Deboor will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jack was born January 13, 1927 in Newkirk, Ok. The son of Roy and Iva(Spiva) Robinson. He went to the Lord on June 18, 2011 at 7:35AM. He was surrounded by his wife and children at his passing.

He moved with his family from Newkirk to Enid and attended schools in Enid and Jet, Oklahoma. Jack enlisted in the U.S. Navy in World War II, he served 3 years. He married Darlene Hale on February 5, 1946.

After he was discharged from the Navy they made their home in Enid. To this union was born 8 children six boys and 2 girls. He worked for Nelson Monument Co. for a few years and for Hackney Iron and Steel. In 1960 he started his own roofing company in which he owned until he turned 60 then he retired from that and went to work at NBC bank and worked there for 5 years.

Jack was baptized by Brother Leo Hale in September of 1954, and was a minister of the Church of the Firstborn for over 57 years. He was ordained a Bishop in 1964. Jack dedicated his life to the Lord and spent many years traveling among the brethren, evangelizing, preaching and teaching the Word of the Lord.

Surviving are his wife Darlene of the home, six sons and daughters-in-law, Jack Jr. of Enid, Larry of Eckert, Co., Richard and Vera of Henryetta, Ok. David and Brenda of Enid, Jerry of Enid, OK And Tommy Joe of Enid, one daughter and son-in-law, Roxanne and Rick Combs of Enid. Twenty one grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren, and one sister Audrey Willyerd of Shawnee, Ok.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Iva, one daughter Cathy Robinson Carmichael, one granddaughter Heather Renee Combs, one grandson Bradley Todd Robinson, one brother Cecil Robinson and one sister Roberta Main. Jack leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.
