Daniel was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He previously worked as an x-ray technician and was recently employed at Ironworks. He was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his companion, Kathy Ushman; a brother, Norman Oliver of Maine; and two nephews, Joshua and Michael Fawns.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
