Mrs. Ball was a 1973 graduate of Ripley Union Lewis High School in Ripley, Ohio and also graduated from Kentucky Christian University in 1977 with a Bachelor's degree in Education. She was the church secretary for Central Christian Church in Ironton for over 29 years. She was also a substitute secretary and substitute teacher for the Ironton City school and Ashland Independent school districts. She was a member of Russell Christian Church in Russell, KY. She was actively involved in Girl Scouting and was a Girl Scout volunteer for over 18 years. Through the years she held many positions in the organization, including Jr. Leader, Cadette/Senior Leader, Service Unit Manager, Council Delegate and Service Unit Treasure.

an aunt Shirley Price of Texas.
Funeral service was at Central Christian Church, 1541 South 7th Street, Ironton, Ohio with Minister Brent Baker officiating. Burial followed in Sugar Creek Cemetery.
