Andrew "Little Andy" Pope Adams was the third son of Henry Clay Adams, Sr. (1820 - about 1861 - 1865) and Mary "Fannie" Vianna McAfee (1821 - 1911). Andrew was the fifth child of thirteen. He was a War of Secession Veteran (1861 - 1865). He married Mary Elizabeth White (1847 - 1919) about 1865 and they had 10 children: Mary, Mat, Newton, William Dolph, Elizabeth("Babe"), Lula, Alfred Jesse, James A.("Whiskey Jim"), Harvey Burton, and Wildie.
