Funeral services for Mr. William Haskell "Bill" Cooper, 95, of Rickman, were
conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2000, at Oak Hill United Methodist
Church with Rev. James Williams officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill
Cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Cooper, a farmer, died Saturday, August 26, 2000, at Livingston Regional
Hospital.
Born January 21, 1905, in Overton County, he was the son of the late George
Cooper and Julie Verble Cooper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded
in death by his wife, Sally Opal Eldridge Cooper; three brothers, Alex
Cooper, Woodrow Cooper, and Oren Cooper; a sister, Velma Livesay; and a
granddaughter, Sharron Ann Oakley Maddux. He was a member of the Oak Hill
United Methodist Church in Rickman.
