Born September 23, 1895, at Fannettsburg, he was a son of James and Rhoda (Nelson) Miller. His wife Mary E. Miller of Orbisonia died October 2, 1961.
Surviving are two children: Walter N. Miller of Philadelphia; and Erminna of Chambersburg; and two brothers: Thad Miller and Jimmy Miller, both of Chambersburg.
Miller was a member of the United Methodist Church(formerly EUB) of Orbisonia.
He retired in 1952 from a career as a farmer.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 22 at 2 p.m. from Ott funeral home, Orbisonia. The Rev. Theodore Bowers will officiate and interment will be made in the IOOF Memorial Cemetery at Rockhill Furnace.
Friends will be received at the funeral home from noon Saturday until the hour of services Sunday.
