MARGARET A GRINNELL: age 87, of Madison, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 28, 2010.

She was born Feb. 28, 1923, in Verona Township to Clement and Martha (Gaetzke) Kietzke. Margaret was united in marriage to Melvin R. Grinnell on June 1, 1946, at the Bashford Methodist Church and they enjoyed 58 years of marriage.

Margaret was a registered nurse for 50 years, graduating from the Methodist School of Nursing in Madison. She was dedicated to her profession and spent the last 18 years at Badger Prairie Health Care Center in Verona until her retirement. She also did home nursing care after her retirement.

Survivors include her daughter, Dawn Rae Grinnell; Gary's children, Vada and Ivy Grinnell of Texas; and many friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin; a son, Gary; an infant granddaughter, Renee Lynn; two brothers, Walter (Lucille) Kietzke and Herbert (Chloris) Kietzke; and two sisters, Eunice (Harry) Butzine and Verna (Floyd) Schroeder.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at 1 p.m. at WEST MADISON BIBLE CHURCH, 2920 County Highway M at PD, Madison, with the Rev. Dan Kukasky officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Tuesday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ansfield and the staff of Associated Physicians, the staff of Meriter Emergency Room and Meriter 8 Tower, and the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center. A special thank you, also, to Charlotte Lefert and LaVonne Evenson for all they have done to care for mom.

Memorials may be made to the West Madison Bible Church School or the charity of your choice.
