He was born on December 3, 1948, in Warrenton, Virginia, to the late Herbert Ellis and Gracie Shifflett Glover.
Warren was an avid bluegrass musician who loved life, his family and above all his grandchildren. He was the greatest father and proudest Papa, even in death he is still teaching us.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Ellen Glover; his sons, Warren T. Glover Jr. and his girlfriend, Carolyne Crank, of Charlottesville and Bryan S. Glover Sr. and his wife, Mari Luise, of Barboursville; and his grandchildren, Estella Mae Glover, Bryan Scott Glover Jr. and Alwine Luise Glover.
Additional survivors include his brothers, Walter Glover and his wife, Nolita, Herbert Glover, and Henry Glover and his wife, Joyce, all of Charlottesville, and James Glover and his wife, Violet, of Stephen City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William, Charles, Ollis, Carrol, Randolf and John.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Holly Memorial Gardens with Pastor Kenny Barrow officiating.
Pallbearers will be John Holder, Jeff Whitford, Fred Lanzon, Tommy Shaver, Mathew Whitford, Eddie King and Mark Collins.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Steven Lanzon and Henry Shaver.
Ryan Funeral Home of Ruckersville is handling the arrangements.
