John and Hannah's granddaughter Hannah Bushrod (daughter of John Bushrod, Jr.) married John Augustine Washington, brother of President George Washington.

He was born in Gloucester county
in Virginia, ye 30th of January, 1663.
He took to wife Hannah, the daughter
of Wm. Keene, of Northumberland county, Gent.,
and Elizabeth, his wife, and by her
left two sons & four daughters, & died the
26th of February, 1719, in the 56th year of his age.
