Mark was born in Duluth on March 29, 1954, to Bill and Lois (Klimek) McKinnon. He was a Proctor High School graduate and also attended Staples Technical College.
Mark was an avid racing and car enthusiast and worked in the trucking and construction industry, driving truck and operating heavy equipment for 37 years.
He was much loved and will be missed for his humor, huge heart, gentle spirit and his devotion and care of his mother.
He was preceded in death by his father, William; and sister-in-law Cindy.
He is survived by his mother, Lois; his siblings, Mary (Mike) Bailey of Seattle, Wash., Mike of Duluth, Patty (Michael Butler) McKinnon of Vashon Island, Wash., Joe (Joan) of Bemidji, and Tony (Robin) of Eagan, Minn.; and his nephews and nieces, Leif Bailey, Patrick Bailey, Nikki McKinnon, Connor McKinnon, Katie McKinnon, Kristie McKinnon, Dana McKinnon, Devin McKinnon, and Cooper McKinnon.
VISITATION: 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, in St. Raphael's Church, 57879 Seville Road, Pike Lake. Burial will be at Canosia Cemetery.
