Funeral services for Mr. William Houston "Bud" Bell, Jr., age 76, of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Frank Bell & Bro. Gary Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Summitville Cemetery. Visitation with the Bell family will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 29 at the funeral home. Mr. Bell passed away Monday evening at his residence.

Mr. Bell was born in Coffee County, TN, the son of the late William Houston and Beatrice Smoot Bell. He was a retired Wisco pressman and was a member of Summitville Methodist Church. Mr. Bell served his country in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bell was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Clara Ann Bell, who passed away in March, 2011. He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Ann (Kenny) Lockhart of Manchester; four brothers, Charles "Chuck" Bell, Frank Bell, Kenneth Bell, and Gary Bell, all of Manchester; one sister, Judy Casey of Manchester; and two grandchildren, Joshua and Michael Lockhart.
