Glenn R. Krotz, 72, of Harrison City, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 1995, in Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. He was born May 3, 1923, in North Irwin, a son of the late Joseph and Katherine Frund Krotz. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a purchasing agent for Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church in Harrison City and was a visiting minister for the church for 10 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Forbes Trail and the Odd Fellows in Adamsburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Eugene, Elroy, Jess, William and Robert Krotz; and three sisters, Martha Krotz, Leona Eckels and Gladys Sistek. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Jane Lamb Krotz; two sons, G. Thomas Krotz of Damascus, Md., and Len E. Krotz of Loyalhanna; a brother, Norman Krotz of Aliquippa; a sister, Elaine Greguric of Westmoreland City; and a grandson, Daniel Krotz. Friends will be received at the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Harrison City, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Community United Methodist Church, Harrison City, with the Revs. Larry P. Homitsky and David Janz co-officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Penn Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Community United Methodist Church, Harrison City, Pa. 15636.
