JAMES C. HARMON, of Beech Creek, N.C., a veteran of World War II, died May 4 at Mountain Home, and was buried Tuesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Lawrence Hagamon conducting the services. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Hazel MAST HARMON; infant son, James Charles; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie HARMON of Beech Creek; three brothers, Dayton of Reece, N.C., Roscoe and Jethro of Beech Creek, N.C.; four sisters, Mrs. Betty CAMPBELL of Norfolk, Va., Mrs. Eliza MOODY of Butler, Mrs. Mae HARMON of Boone, N.C. and Hazel HARMON of the home.
