In 1880 she, her parents, her six siblings, and 66-year-old John McCachren lived on a farm in East Wheatfield Township, Indiana County, PA.

In 1900 she, her husband, their son, and her sister Carrie lived on a farm they were renting in Buffington Township in the same county.

In 1910 she and Warren and their six children lived on a farm they owned, mortgage free, back in East Wheatfield Township.

In 1920 she and her husband and their nine children lived there. He also worked as a carpenter in the coal mines, Lewis as a laborer in the coal mines, and Viola as a school teacher.

In 1930 she and Warren and their eight youngest children lived there on the farm. They did have a radio. Leroy worked on the farm, Paul as a laborer doing odd jobs, Mary and Martha as public school teachers, and George as a mill hand in a steel mill.

In 1940 just she and her husband and their daughter Anna lived there. Their home was valued at $1000.
