Less than 18 months later Luman and Philena welcomed a daughter Annis Frances Gibbs on June 2,1812 in Benson, Rutland County, Vermont, USA. 9 days after her 3rd birthday Annis passed away on June 11,1815 in Benson, Rutland County, Vermont, USA.
Military Years:
Luman Gibbs Served in the War of 1812, He was in the Battle of Sacketts Harbor, Also involved in a battle with the Indian between Burlington Heights and Fort George Upper Canada, and also the battle of Williamsburg, Canada.
Luman Served under Pvt Capt's Howard, Thomas S Seymour's Companies and Col. George McFeely's Co 25 US Infantry. Enlisted on Feb 27, 1813 and discharged on May 17,1815.
Upon being discharged Luman came home to a new addition to his family A daughter Olive Jane Born 13 Jan 1815 in Rutland, Rutland, Vermont, USA
On Sep 11, 1816 in Vermont, USA Luman and Philena welcomed their 4th Child Darius Spencer Gibbs.
