ROCHELLE - Alma E. Elmore, 84, died Friday at Rochelle Community Hospital, Rochelle.

The Rochelle resident was born in Mendota, Nov. 16, 1903 to Henry and Minnie Arndt.

She worked at Stone's Hallmark in Rochelle for 20 years, prior to that she and her husband owned and operated a restaurant.

She was married to Hubert Elmore, who preceded her in death.

Services were held at Lyons Cluts-Simes Funeral Home in Rochelle, Monday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Garry Briesacher from Faith Lutheran Church officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church. Burial was made in the Restland Cemetery in Mendota.

She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, Rochelle Senior Citizens and was a community member of the resident's advisory council at Rochelle Healthcare East.

Survivors include two sisters, Clara D. Stineling of Mendota and Hilda Gross of Rochelle and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
