Miss Gladys Austin, 1504 Washington Street passed away in a local hospital Friday, November 5, following a short illness. Miss Austin had resided in this community since 1887 and was a well known retired teacher. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Eastern Star, O. E. S. Sehome Chapter and was a graduate of the University of Washington. Miss Austin is survived by one sister, Miss Francis M. Austin at home and one brother, George Austin of Seattle. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 8 at 3:30 p.m. within the Cathedral Chapel of the Westford Funeral Home, with the Rev. W. Robert Webb, Rector, officiating. Interment Bay View.
