James "Jim" F. Cain, 84, Bloomington, passed away at 7:15 a.m. Saturday (June 25, 2011) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
He was born Nov. 19, 1926 in Bloomington to John and Alice McCoy Cain. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Cain. He married Mary K. Devine on Dec. 13, 1969. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Connie (Larry) Carson, Heyworth and Lynn (Ken) Wills, Bloomington; five grandchildren, Tobi (Patrick) Buckley, Traci (Alan) Hardwick, Dana Trunnell, Gina (Mark) Eldredge and Toni (Jarrod) Hunt; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler and Brandon Buckley; Raeghan Morefield; Leenah Hunt and Noah, Ashlyn and Joseph Eldredge; two brothers, Lyle (Sheila) Cain, Cheyenne, Wyoming and Elmer (Ann) Cain, Rockford and one sister, Virginia (Jack) Cain, Georgetown, Texas.
He was a United States World War II Navy veteran.
