Funeral For Knox City Lady Held at 10 O'clock Monday.
Mrs. Rosa Lee McMillen of Knox City, 78 years old, died at her home Saturday. Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the home, conducted by the Rev. W. J. Quigley and the Rev. L. L. Lafrentz. Burial was in the Knox City cemetery.
Pallbearers were: F. F. Simpson, Harold Davis, Chester Eoff, T. E. Benner, Lon Ladd and Elmo Jarvis. Music was furnished by a ladies' duet, composed of Mrs. Karl Schempp and Mrs. A. J. Seeger, with Miss Patty Davis at the piano.
Mrs. McMillen was born April 16, 1863, near Knox City, the daughter of Joseph and Louise Benner. She was married to Benjamin McMillen of Millport, June 19, 1881, who died Sept. 1, 1928. To them one child was born, Mrs. Charles Daily, who survives. Also surviving her are a brother, Chris Benner, and two sisters, Mrs. Milliam Lewis and Mrs. William Schempp.
Mrs. McMillen was a member of the Christian Church.
