Morgan Gindlesperger Sr., 81, Somerset, died Oct. 13, 1984, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Feb. 7, 1903, in Lincoln Township. Preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Betty. Survived by his wife, the former Jennie Shaulis; and these children: Roy, Somerset; Dean, Spangler; Mrs. Albert (Sara) Bambling, Somerset; Morgan Jr., Acosta; and Ronald, Somerset; also 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Member of the Sipesville Church of the Brethren, the UMWA and the Jenner Rod and Gun Club. A retiree of Laurel Hill State Park. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Sipesville Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Blair Harshbarger, officiating. Interment, Sipesville Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Morgan was adopted by his grandparents.
