Hazel L. Aipperspach, 84, a longtime resident of the Bridgeport area, died Dec. 28, 2008 in Brewster. She was born June 2, 1923, in Deer Park, Washington, daughter of Harvey and Edith (Davis) Boggs. She spent her early life in Deer Park, where she attended school. In 1965 she moved to Bridgeport and on Sept. 24, 1966 she married Eugene "Shorty" Aipperspach. For 36 years they resided at their home on Gun Club Road. Survivors include her husband, Shorty, of the home; daughters Sharon (Tom) Taylor and Connie (Neil) Bigelow, both of Deer Park; son Dan (Vickie) West of Chewelah; three stepdaughters, Susie (Bill) Redfield of East Wenatchee, Julie (Mike) Hislop of Des Moines and Trudy L. Polito of Poulsbo; brother Delbert Boggs of Arizona, 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, a brother and two sisters.
