Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Ocie Jay Hadley, 78, returned to his Heavenly Father on June 8, 1997 at his home.

Born June 1, 1919 in Swan Lake, Idaho to Rich and Lillie Victoria Fisher Hadley. Married Camille Flowers on September 8, 1950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduate of Downey High School; attended U.S.U. Proudly served in U.S. Army during World War II as a member of 1st Special Service Force.

Lifetime member of Sons of Utah Pioneers; active member of the LDS Church and served as cub master, Y.M. secretary; ward and stake clerk; high priest; stake mission.

He was a tender, kind, and gentle man who taught us patience and Christ-like love through his example. His dry wit sense of humor was with him to the end. He loved his Savior, his family and country. He was our hero and best friend!

Survived by wife; children, Jaylene and Jack Gathercoal; Lynda and Jim Beal; Marcyne and Joe Turley; David J. Hadley, D.M.D.; grandchildren, Todd and Kristi Nemelka; Kelli and Jackie Gathercoal; Holli, Jeffrey, GiGi, Lori Nemelka; Jaymie and Lyndsie Beal; Lee and Alysha Hunter; step-grandchildren, Christine, Leann, Laura, Meg Gathercoal; Collene, Burke Ballard; great-grandchildren, Skyler, Bronson, Luke, Garrett, Samantha, Brock; brothers, Fred and Dale Hadley; sister, Belle Johnson.

"We love you, Daddy!"
