Anthony L. "Tony" Arnold, 43, of 674 Greenbrier Court, Sidney, died at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2011, at Triumph Hospital, Lima.
He was born Jan, 19, 1968, in Sidney, the son of Frederick "Ray" and Mildred "Milly" (Spaw) Arnold, Jr. They survive him.
In addition to his parents, Tony is survived by his paternal grandmother Marjorie Arnold, of West Carrolton; a sister and brother-in-law, Gina and Patrick Flaute, of Botkins; a brother, Frederick "Ray" Arnold, III, of Lima; and two nieces, Kacey and Laura Flaute, both of Botkins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Frederick Arnold Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Harold and Mae Spaw; and one niece, Sarah Flaute.
Tony graduated from Sidney High School in 1986. He loved bowling and basketball. He was an avid sports fan with his favorite teams being the University of Kentucky, Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Reds. He worked for Al's Pizza, Sidney. He had proudly served his country as a member of the U.S, Army.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, by the Rev. Harold McKnight. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Sidney. Full military honors will be provided at the cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, National Headquarters, 3300 E. Sunrise Drive, Tucson, AZ 85718. Condolences may be expressed
