LaJunta Tribune-Democrat, July 31, 1945:
James T. Randles Dies at Hospital
James T. Randles, 76, 1602 Carson Avenue died at the Mennonite Hospital early this morning after a long illness.
He was born in Quincey, Ill and had been a resident of this community for the past four years. His wife died February 27, 1945.
He is survived by two sons, James Randles and Earl Randles of South Haven, Ks.; four daughters, Mrs. Cora Mae Avery of Hutchinson, Ks., and Mrs. Georgia Opal Curless, Misses Mable and Zelma Randles all of LaJunta; one brother, William R. Randles of Hutchinson, Ks., 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Green Mortuary.

Funeral To Be Held for James Randles
Funeral services for James T. Randles will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 at the Green Mortuary chapel with Rev. Clyde C. Dawson officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Services for James T. Randles were held at the Green Mortuary chapel yesterday afternoon with Dr. Carley W. Halsey officiating.
Pall bearers were R. I. Tyree; Floyd Souder; James Mickey; R.P. Lewis; Y.M. Piedemann and Manuel Bender.
Burial was in Fairview Cemetery
