Mrs. D. C. Swindle. Claxton, Ga., Jan 27 – Funeral services were held this afternoon for Mrs. D. C. Swindle 70. The service was held from the First Baptist Church and was conducted by Rev. J. J. Winburn, pastor. Hers was the first death to occur in a family of eight children and 16 grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, David C. Swindle, and five sons and three daughters. Interment was in Brewton cemetery.
