Former Lititz resident Shelby Jean McKinney Bell, 67, of Palm Bay, Fla., died unexpectedly Monday at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, Fla., after a brief illness. Mrs. Bell worked 27 years for Alcoa, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Eight and Forty, Melbourne, Fla., and Peace Lutheran Church, Palm Bay. Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Anna Henny Faus. She was married to Gerald W. Bell. Her first husband, Joseph E. McKinney, died in 1993. Surviving are a son, Steven K., husband of Kimberly McKinney of East Petersburg; a daughter, Kelly J., wife of William Jones of Satellite Beach, Fla.; two granddaughters; two stepgrandchildren; and two brothers, Norman Jr. and Wilbur Faus, both of Lititz.
