Henry E. Hank Barnett, 87, of Wind Gap passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 in Liberty Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Allentown.

Born: June 16, 1923 in West Plains, MO, a son of the late Frank and Margaret Belle Crabtree Barnett.

Personal: His beloved wives, Ruby Barnett, Murtle Barnett and Mildred Snyder and his companion of 20 years Marion Shook all died earlier. He was a Spot Welder at the former Bear Automotive of Bangor for 22 years. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II from 1942 to 1946.

Memberships: He was a life member and past Commander of VFW Post 739 of Bangor and its Military Order of Cooties, a life member of the Pen Argyl Republican Club, a life member of the Jacksonian Club of Bangor and was a member of the American Legion Post 724 of Wind Gap.

Survivors: two sisters, Mildred Ray of Peculiar, MO and Wanda Lee Judd of West Plains, MO; two brothers, Warren Barnett of Lawson, MO and Michael Barnett of Pottersville, MO; and a step-daughter, Dolores Vreeland of Bangor; and two step-sons, William Snyder and his wife Barbara of York, PA, and Donald Snyder of Easton; four grandchildren, Roger Vreeland, Timothy Vreeland, Donna Mae Davidson and Ginnette Grove.

A son, Frank Barnett, brothers, Curtis, Jack, Clifford and Norman and sisters, Mary Peters and Betty Belle all died earlier.

Services: Services will be Thursday, June 16th at 8 p.m. in the Fiore Funeral Home, 230 Market St., Bangor with Pastor Barry Becker officiating. Call on Thursday from 6 till time of services. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Memorials: Memorial donations may be offered in Henrys name to the American Heart Association, Northeastern PA District, 212 East Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18017. www.fiorefuneralhome.com.
