Howard was the son of Harry and Annona Grace (Smelser)Morrison. His grandparents were Alexander and Eliza Ann (Mitten)Morrison and his great grandparents were William and Rachael T. (Shaw) Mitten.

Howard A. Morrison
Howard A. Morrison, 78, 908 N. Phillips St., died at 1:50 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital following a short Illness.

Born Jan. 20, 1898, in Frankfort, he was the son of Harry and Grace Morrison. On Aug. 3, 1918, he married Madaline G. Merritt who survives.
He was a lifelong resident of Kokomo and a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. He was a life member of the Brotherhood of Painters, Decorators and Paper Hangers of America.
Also surviving are three daughters, Joan A. Kellar and Marion F. Helms both of Kokomo and Norma I. Meranda of Indianapolis; a son, Leon H. Morrison or Orlando, Fla; two sisters, Thelma Jacobs of Kokomo and Lela Kerges of Costa Mesa, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Fenn Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Williams officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home
