Minerva Jane was the daughter of John Dolly Linger and Lucinda Crites Linger. She was the wife of John Wesley Zinn and the mother of Lucy Adocia, Thomas Clark, Georger G. and William M. Zinn. The following is her obituary as it appeared in the Weston Independent, Tues. 12 Sept. 1899?:
"ZINN, MINERVA JANE - IN MEMORIAM: Wife of J. W. Zinn, daughter of J. D. and Lucinda Linger was born March 27, 1840 and died September 23, 1898? Married J. W. Zinn February 1, 1866. Leaves husband, five brothers and two sisters, and aged father in his 83rd year."
