Brandon C. Taylor, age 17, of Fredric, died accidently on January 6, 2002.

He was born on Easter Sunday, April 22, 1984 to Terry and Jane Taylor in Fredric. Brandon was a senior at Fredric High School. He was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in West Sweden.

He loved sports, darts, movies, playing pool and hanging around with his friends. He was captain of the football team for the past two years, and Captain of the basketball team this season. He was involved with the Kinship program, loved little kids and loved animals. He enjoyed playing softball and lifting weights, and was an all-around "nice guy." He loved to spend time with his parents and two brothers,
"Ryan and Dustin".

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Arnold Benson, and uncle Lyle Benson.

He is survived by his parents, Terry & Jane Taylor of Fredric; brothers Ryan & Dustin Taylor of Fredric; Grandparents, Gladys Benson, Elmer & JoAnne Taylor, all of Fredric; Aunts & Uncles; Allen (Barb)Benson of Siren, Trudy McClinton of Fredric, Kevin (Maria)Taylor of Fredric, Brad (Kristin) Taylor of Story City, Iowa, Steven (Carol) of Elkhart, Ind., Vickie (Tim) Erickson of Centuria: many cousins; and fiancee of Jessica Niles; and hundreds of friends.

Funeral services were held on January 10, 2002, at the Fredric High School. Pastor David Everett and Pastor Carol Ann McArdell officiated the services. Music was provided by pianist Sandy Lindquist and vocalists Kyle Johansen, Bruce Hanson and Heather Jensen. Pallbearers were Brant Beecroft, LeRoy Doan, Mark Desjardins, Marty Niles, Josh Strokes and Scott Meyer.

Interment was held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fredric. Funeral arrangements were provided by the Swed-berg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster.
