Ocie Naomi Hubbs was born March 2, 1921 Blanchard, Oklahoma to Benjamin Taylor and Cora Bell (Shrum) Holmes. She passed away, Saturday, June 25 in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years 3 months and 23 days. She married Floyd Edman Hubbs April 2, 1937 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. To this union, eight children were born. Her world revolved around her husband, children grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin Taylor and Cora Bell Shrum Holmes, husband, Floyd Edman Hubbs Sr., a son Floyd Edman Hubbs Jr.her granddaughter, Lisa Michelle Hubbs Mica.Five brothers Leon Brookston Holmes,James Maudrel Holmes, Verdie Lee Holmes,William Fordie Holmes, Ardie Gaylord Holmes and one sister Eva Mae ( Holmes) Duca. She is survived by seven children, Drucella Watson of Henryetta, OK,And of San Marcos, Texas Delores Lawson and husband Garland of Henryetta, OK, Shirley Ausbrooks and husband Bobby Sr. of Tulsa,Ok. Kenneth Hubbs and wife Barbara of Henryetta,Ok. Glenda Crosby of Henryetta,Ok. Janice Spurlock and husband Jimmy of Henryetta, Ok. and Anita Raley and husband Darryl of Okmulgee.Oklahoma. Thirteen grandchildren eighteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Westlawn Cemetery with Rev. Robert Lay & Rev. Matthew Martin officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service. Henryetta, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be George Gavito, Ryan Henley, James W. Ausbrooks,Kenneth Lee Hubbs, Joshua Brittenham and Chase Raley.
